inside dressing room while bargain shopping at Lord & Taylor yesterday (my birthday gift-hunt went south), i noticed the floor plan had changed, a number of new, fresh-faced employees were busily setting up displays, and more than one of the designer labels had seemingly vanished.
apparently, the same megacorp that bought the Strawbridges store on 7th and Market also took over it's sister, Lord & Taylor. Strawbridges will become Macy's, and Lord & Taylor, Bloomingdales. look for changeover to occur mid-march...
